2016 update

• A long trip South to the South West Dairy Show in early October proved worthwhile, our latest Actionman daughter won her Heifer in Milk class - Bluerock Actionmans Motherday Roxy VG88 while we also won the Junior Cow in mIlk class with Bluegrass Tequilas Hairspray VG87
  
  
• Our showteam had a highly successful 2016 Livestock Event, thanks to all our helpers and supporters. Bluegrass Jerseys secured all five Jersey trophies, including Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor.
  We secured the Heifer Championship with our VG89 hiefer Bluegrass Actionmans Action Jane, pictured below top of the strong class of milk heifers. We also won the In calf heifer class with Bluegrass Snowmans Panama, ahead of Bluegrass Snowmans Sun Maiden in 2nd.
  
  
  
  We than also had 1st in the Junior Cow in milk class with Bluegrass Cougars Debbie who went on to be Breed Champion - a great show!!- with both Claire and Judge Richard Saxby smiling.
  
  
  
  
• This Spring has seen us secure two top heifer classifications with Bluegrass Cougars Debbie VG89-2yrs and Bluegrass Actionmans Action Jane VG89-2yrs
  
  
  
  
  
• Bluegrass Just Wait Suzie has also scored well at EX96-7E, a fourth generation straight EX now in her 9th lactation
  
  
  
  
• We have also had our first cow break the 12,000kg lacation barrier, Bluegrass Blazing Dainty Diana EX95-4E has amassed over 75 tonnes of milk in 7 lactations, recording a huge 7th lactation at 12,009kg in 307 days (11,959kg in 305 days at 5.77% fat and 3.4% protein)
  
  
• Last year Bluegrass Vindication Harp VG89 was sold at the Red Ribbon sale by James Doherty and Steph Whittaker who purchased her from us, she made a new breed record at 11,000gns when sold to new owners the Fleming Family, K Agnew and J Henning.
  
  
• Bluegrass Prissy Polly EX95-3E who has dominated the UK show scene for many years now, owned by the Tregibby family scooped her fourth consecutive All Britain title in 2015, that makes her undefeated in milk in the All Britains in 2012,2013, 2014 and 2015 - an unrivalled achievement.
  
  
  She is also dam of Tregibby Yegabomb VG89 available from Cogent
  
  
• Excitement continues to build for Lord Actioman, he now has four classified daughters including the VG89-2yrs daughter Bluegrass Actionman Action Carol and his sister Bluegrass Coalitions Ldy Carol is now EX95-3E read more about the family on the Carol page
